Rocky Hill, CT (July 1, 2008) CATIC, New England’s largest domestic and only Bar-Related® title insurance underwriter, has announced the election of three new members to its Board of Directors. The new Directors, Craig T. Hoekenga II, Thomas Babson Kane and Ann Farrell Leslie, were elected at the May 21, 2008 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
Craig T. Hoekenga II, a principal in Hoekenga & Machado, in Danbury, CT, received a B.S. from Salve Regina University and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York, and is a member of the Connecticut and New York Bar Associations. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Thomas Babson Kane is a principal of Kane, Hartley & Kane, P.C., in Glastonbury, CT, and a graduate of St. Michael’s College, in Colchester, VT, and Western New England College School of Law. Attorney Kane is a member of the Glastonbury Rotary Club, the Colchester Planning and Zoning Committee and the Colchester Democratic Town Committee. He is also a member of the Connecticut, Hartford County and Glastonbury Bar Associations, and the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association.
Ann Farrell Leslie is a principal in Farrell, Leslie & Grochowski, in Wallingford, CT. She received a B.A., with honors, from the College of the Holy Cross, in Worcester, MA, and a J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School. Attorney Leslie has been a member of the Wallingford Business Professional Woman’s Association since 1995 and served as its President from 1999-2000.
