CATIC has been selected as Real Estate Industry Partner of the Year for 2009 by the University of Connecticut's Center for Real Estate. The award honors real estate professional organizations that have provided distinguished service to the Center. In announcing the award, John M. Clapp, Director of the Center, noted CATIC's industry accomplishments and ongoing support of the mission of the Center.
The Center was established in 1965 by the Connecticut General Assembly for the purpose of providing professional and practical assessment of real estate issues in Connecticut, the region and the nation. The Center is a resource to government and business and a leader in real estate education, research and service.
The award was accepted by Joel Mandell, CATIC's Special Counsel, Commercial Services, at an Awards Banquet held on April 15, 2009.
