In announcing the appointment, DeFrances noted Ms. Wells’ extensive experience in financial management and business development. Immediately prior to joining CATIC Exchange Solutions, Inc., Ms. Wells was employed by Prudential Financial, providing retirement, business development and investment services. She was also formerly associated with CIGNA Corporation, as a pricing analyst in its healthcare division, and with Coopers & Lybrand, L.L.P., servicing the brokerage, banking and healthcare industries. She received her undergraduate degree from Fairfield University, Fairfield, CT, with a B.S. in Accounting, and an M.B.A. from the University of Hartford, West Hartford, CT. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.
