Rocky Hill, CT (October 21, 2010) CATIC, New England's largest domestic and only Bar-Related® title insurance underwriter, is pleased to announce that Judith Parys has joined the Company's New Hampshire office as a Business Development Representative. Ms. Parys's responsibilities will include the fostering and management of relationships with law firms and attorneys within both New Hampshire and Maine. Ms. Parys will also assist in recruiting new title insurance agents and in promoting the role of the attorney in the real estate transaction.
In announcing the appointment, Richard J. Patterson, President of CATIC, noted Ms. Parys's many years of experience in the title insurance industry. Patterson stated, "Judy's wealth of knowledge about the title industry will be very valuable for the Company and serve her well in her efforts to expand the Company's growth in both New Hampshire and Maine."
Ms. Parys received a B.A. from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland and a J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center. She previously served on the faculty at both Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH, and New Hampshire Community Technical College in Nashua, NH. An active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Ms. Parys has also been active in various community organizations, having served as director of the Manchester Habitat for Humanity and as a volunteer for Manchester Community Housing and the Concord Area Trust for Community Housing.
