Attorney Colleen Lindroos Named Chair of Connecticut Bar Association’s Real Property Section

Rocky Hill, CT (June 13, 2007) CATIC®, New England’s largest domestic title insurance underwriter, is pleased to announce the election of Colleen Danehy Lindroos as the Chairperson of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Real Property Section. Attorney Lindroos is Legal Publications Manager at CATIC, and has been an employee of the Company since 1983.

Attorney Lindroos has been a member of the Section’s Executive Committee for more than fifteen years, and a member of its Legislative Subcommittee for more than twenty years. She recently completed a two-year term as the Section’s Vice-Chair, and previously served as its Treasurer and Secretary.

Attorney Lindroos received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.

The Real Property Section promotes the educational and professional objectives of the Connecticut Bar Association within the field of real property law. Section and Executive Committee meetings held throughout the year provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information related to conveyancing, mortgages, title insurance, land use, proposed legislation and other matters of interest to the real estate bar.
