Rocky Hill, CT (January 22, 2010) CATIC Financial, Inc. has announced that it has made a corporate charitable contribution to Americares, for Haitian relief assistance. Headquartered in Stamford, CT, Americares is a nonprofit disaster relief and humanitarian organization providing aid to those in need around the world.
In announcing the donation, Richard J. Patterson, President and Chief Executive Officer of CATIC Financial, noted the devastation suffered by Haiti in the recent earthquake and the country's great need for charitable assistance. Patterson stated, "This contribution, along with many others, will provide much needed aid to Haiti as it works toward recovery."
