Rocky Hill, CT (January 12, 2012) The CATIC Foundation has announced the recipients of its charitable donations for the 2011 calendar year. The awards included grants to the UConn Center for Real Estate and Urban Economic Studies, the Paralegal Program at Elms College in Chicopee, MA, Western New England School of Law, and the Massachusetts REBA Foundation.

The CATIC Foundation also provided funding for prizes to be awarded to students at the University of Connecticut School of Law, Quinnipiac School of Law, Yale Law School, and Western New England School of Law. Other recipients of awards in 2011 included the Children's Law Center of CT, The Connecticut Bar Foundation's IOLTA Program, Habitat for Humanity, Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers, and a number of food banks.

The CATIC Foundation is the charitable arm of CATIC Financial, Inc., and was founded in 1999. The objective of the Foundation is to provide financial support to non-profit entities engaged in legal education, public service law, and other charitable endeavors.
