Rocky Hill (June 4, 2010) CATIC, New England's largest domestic and only Bar-Related® title insurance underwriter, is pleased to announce the appointment of Louis Chinappi as Industry Relations Manager, 
effective June 1, 2010. Mr. Chinappi's responsibilities will include the fostering and management of relationships with lenders, Realtors® and builders throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Chinappi will also assist in recruiting new title insurance agents and in promoting the role of the attorney in the real estate transaction.
In announcing the appointment, Keith McNamara, CATIC's Director of Industry Relations, noted Mr. Chinappi's many years of experience in the mortgage lending and title insurance industries. Prior to joining CATIC, Mr. Chinappi spent 15 years at Stoneham Cooperative Bank, where he managed the mortgage lending department. He also has 12 years' experience working in the title insurance industry.
Mr. Chinappi is a graduate of Salem State College, in Salem, Massachusetts, with both an undergraduate degree and a Master in Business Administration. While at Salem State, Mr. Chinappi was named to the National Honor Society for Business Administration. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association. Mr. Chinappi resides in Peabody, Massachusetts.
