CATIC®, New England’s largest domestic title insurance underwriter, is pleased to announce that Attorney Carol D. Brooks was awarded an Honorary Membership in the New Hampshire Land Surveyors Association, at the Association’s annual meeting on November 30, 2006. The award was presented to Attorney Brooks in recognition of her significant contributions to the Association, especially her "gracious collaboration on projects and significant contributions toward the education of the membership." Attorney Brooks recently contributed written materials and appeared as a guest speaker at the Association’s seminar on newly-adopted survey standards.
Attorney Brooks is CATIC's New Hampshire Title Counsel and Underwriter, providing underwriting support to CATIC agents for both commercial and residential real estate transactions. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and the Merrimack County Bar Association, a member and past chair of the Real Property Law Section, and a founding member and past president of the New Hampshire Title Association. Attorney Brooks is a frequent speaker at CATIC seminars and at seminars conducted by the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association and other professional groups. A graduate of Bridgewater College in Virginia, Attorney Brooks received a Master’s degree from Antioch-New England and a Juris Doctor degree from Franklin Pierce Law Center.
