CATIC® is pleased to announce that Elizabeth J. Barton, Title Counsel in its Wellesley office, has been appointed to the Massachusetts Bar Association's Property Law Section Council for the 2008-2009 Association year. The Property Law Section Council governs and oversees the work of the Property Law Section in proposing and analyzing legislation, developing educational programs, initiating practice groups and working with the Bar Association's House of Delegates in recommending policy and legislative action for the MBA. Attorney Barton's appointment was made by the Bar Association's President, Edward W. McIntyre.
Attorney Barton is a frequent speaker at CATIC seminars and at programs conducted by REBA and MCLE. She received her B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law.
